I began my internship with Sports and Entertainment Today Magazine in February of 2024, working amongst Danisha Rolle, the magazines editor in chief. I instantly fell in love with its culture. The magazine prioritizes not only the lives of athletes beyond the court but also the women who support them.
During the Summer of 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Women of the NFL Conference in Chicago, Illinois where I was surrounded by powerful, business-minded women. The weekend was filled with networking, bonding, and, most of all, taking in the beauty of the Windy City.
I have experience as both a writer and an advertisement sponsor for the magazine.
Miami kids magazine
As a Miami native, I was both blessed and excited to embark on my first internship with a company as welcoming as Miami Kids Magazine.
I began my internship in August of 2022, where I had the invaluable opportunity to shadow the magazine's editor in chief, Karla Richey.
During this time, I gained insight into the crucial elements that contribute to the success of a magazine, as well as the various aspects involved in planning and executing community events.
